Victory! Last night the energy was amazing. The crowd doubled. We had more than 60,000 beautiful people drinking in every word of the gospel. Never have I seen such attentiveness. All the way to the back of the crowd almost no one stirred. At times they laughed with delight and other moments they roared with the victory of Jesus. When the time came to commit to Jesus, nearly every hand in the massive crowd was raised to heaven. And as we prayed the sinners prayer the voices of 40 or 50,000 people giving their lives to Jesus sounded like thunder. It was glorious to see the ranks of the redeemed swell as these, the poorest of the poor found true riches in Jesus Christ. In that moment, one of the largest slums in the world was transformed into a cathedral of praise.
