Last night we had an incredible breakthrough. If you have been reading the blogs, you know that this outreach has been a struggle every step of the way. However, the one thing that has been consistnently great is the response of the crowds. Every night thousands of hands are raised indicating that they are making a commtment to Christ. That has been fantastic!
On the other hand, so many challenges have tested our resolve and had us all working overtime. Never the less, last night it all seemed to come together. Our stage arrived and being 6 feet high, it gave much greater visibility into the crowd. Our sound system came as well, because of this we were able to push the message of the gospel deep into the slums of Kibera. The joy in the audience was electric, so many gave their lives to Jesus!
Literally thousands of people were healed of countless different infirmities. One lovely lady had a tumor in her left ear that caused her to be deaf in that ear. Jesus not only removed the tumor, but restored her hearing. Another woman with a large tumor in her stomach testified that it had immediately disappeared when we prayed for healing from cancer. We could have taken testimonies all night of the lives that Jesus changed.
Tonight is our final night of the outreach. I expect that it will be the best yet. This whole area feels filled with a hope that many have never before known. Keep praying, I believe that tonight is going to be amazing.
